Itinerary
6 AM: Pick up
You must begin your one-day Delhi local sightseeing tour by six in the morning. At precisely six in the morning, our representative will pick you up at the designated hotel location.
7:30 AM: Lotus Temple
You will arrive at the Lotus Temple by 7:30 AM after the driver has taken you there. Oneness is portrayed in this Bahá'í House of Worship. Regardless of religion, this temple fosters harmony. The lotus-shaped structure of the temple is very attractive from the outside.
9:00 AM: Jama Masjid
You will then explore the Jama Masjid in old Delhi. In terms of religious significance, this location is very tranquil and soothing. Sandstone and marble were used in the construction of Jama Masjid. There are two entrances: one facing south and one facing north. As soon as you enter the winding lanes, you will sense the atmosphere of Old Delhi.
11:00 AM: Red Fort
Red Fort is the next best gem in old Delhi. Explore the Red Fort, which is made of red sandstone, after Jama Masjid. Don't overlook this museum. Visit the following locations: Moti Masjid, Rang Mahal, Mumtaz Mahal, Naubat Khana, Nahr-i-Behisht, Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, and Khas Mahal.
12:00 PM: Lunch Break
At 12 PM, take a brief lunch break. To experience the real taste of popular cuisines, you can visit some of Old Delhi's most well-known eateries.
2:00 PM: Qutub Minar
One of the most visited places in Delhi is Qutub Minar. You will then proceed to explore the Qutub Minar. It is Qutub-ud-din Aibak's creation. This five-story structure, which was finished by Iltutmish, is a symbol of victory. Furthermore, Qutub Minar's upper floors were rebuilt and restructured by Firoz Shah Tughlaq.
3:30 PM: Humayun's Tomb and Sundar Nursery
Considering the historical significance of Mughal architecture, Humayun's Tomb was constructed between 1565 and 1572. The driver will then take you to the tomb of Humayun. This was built by Hamida Banu Begum in memory of her late husband.
6:00 PM: India Gate
India Gate was designed by Edwin Lutyens as a memorial to the 70,000 soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. Rajpath, another location you should visit, is very close to it. The best time to visit India Gate is in the evening. You should come see the light show here between 7 and 9.30 p.m.
9:00 PM: Drop Off
All of this marks the conclusion of the Delhi local sightseeing tour. You will be picked up by the driver from India Gate and dropped off at the hotel. You'll get home by ten o'clock.
