Day 01 : Mumbai to Delhi by flight and Delhi to Agra by car
You leave for Agra by taking a two hours flight from Mumbai to Delhi. The executive will meet you at the Delhi airport and then we will leave for Agra today. On reaching after a 3 hour trip, check-in and take a quick break then you may start with the tour.
In the afternoon, start with viewing the Agra Fort which is a huge red sandstone fort that was created by the renowned Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. In addition to being a palace for the Mughal rulers this complex was crucial to the history of the region as well. Explore while wandering around the courtyards, palaces and gardens of this magnificent construction while your guide provides you an insight of its historical background.
Visit the local bazaars of Agra to conduct some shopping where you will discover numerous trinkets, spices, locally crafted rugs, marble inlay work etc. In the evening you can tour local restaurants and have supper in Mughlai cuisine restaurants. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 02 : Agra Sightseeing and Drive back to delhi
Visit the Taj Mahal in the morning. Witness the sunrise over this stunning white marble monument, erected by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Return to your hotel for breakfast and check-out. If time permits, you can visit the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, also referred to as the 'Baby Taj.'
Following your sightseeing, drive back to Delhi for your afternoon departure to Mumbai.
