Day 01: Jaipur to Jodhpur
The Mehrangarh Fort, a massive stronghold erected on a mountaintop to command the whole city, is Jodhpur's main draw. With its many magnificent treasures, royal-style spaces, and lovely courtyards, this fort is among the largest and best-preserved in all of India. The whole Jodhpur landscape, particularly the blue residential buildings that give the city its nickname, can be seen from the fort's top. The Jaswant Thada, a stunning marble architectural wonder built for Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, will be the next destination.
Day 02: Exploring Jodhpur
Following your tour of the Umaid Bhawan Palace, you could have a few hours to spend exploring the rest of the city or perhaps relaxing at one of the cafés. You might also visit the Mandore Gardens, which are well-known for its royal cenotaph and garden, if you'd like.
With lovely recollections of the cultural acts and the stunning architecture that can only be seen in Jodhpur, it is time to depart for Jaipur about mid-afternoon. Arrive in Jaipur in the evening to wrap off a wonderful and fun one-night excursion.
